BAIRNSLEY  HIGHLANDS

HOME PAGE

Highland cattle are a majestic breed without equal. Their written history dates back many centuries in the highlands of Scotland which makes them one of the oldest known breeds of cattle. They are a 'natural' breed - they have not changed much over the centuries. The fact that we haven't messed with them overly gives rise to their most well known characteristics - ease of calving, docility, excellent quality beef and low maintenance.
