Highland
cattle are a majestic breed without equal. Their written history dates back
centuries in the highlands of Scotland which makes them one of the oldest
known breeds of cattle. They are a 'natural' breed - they have not changed much
over the centuries. The fact that we haven't messed with them overly gives rise
to their most well known characteristics - ease of calving, docility, excellent
quality beef and low maintenance.

Most people are attracted to Highland cattle because of their eye appeal (and why not!) but look beyond this and you will be pleasantly surprised.
